So what's in a name? In case you haven't already noticed we love to play with words at Wisecrack. We name our coffees based on what resonates about the origin, the people who grow it, and sometimes random happenstance. There was a bit of luck involved in discovering this selection from Peru.
Couple our good fortune with the fact that these seeds are sourced from a female Co-op called "Las Damas de San Ignacio” (located in the Department of Cajamarca) and you get Luck Be A Lady! Whether it's picking, sorting, washing, or milling - careful, loving attention is paid to all the coffee that comes out of COOPAFSI .
If you are looking for a smoother, mellow coffee that exudes notes of chocolate, has minimal acidity, and holds up to various brew methods including espresso really well, check this one out!
