Why Choose Us?
We only source and roast Specialty Grade Coffee. That means the coffee we sell is carefully grown and processed, and scores 80+ on the Specialty Coffee Association scale for flavor, aroma, and absence of defects. Commodity grade coffee is mass-produced, lower-quality coffee traded mainly for volume and price rather than taste. Specialty grade is much more expensive, but it's "off the charts" better in terms of taste, quality, and sustainability. You know the saying, "you get what you pay for" - right? Coffee makes our experiences better. We started Wisecrack Roasting Company because it's a pursuit that checks all the boxes for us. If we have to sum it up, our story is a curiosity voyage. One that is infinite. We create and sell products that align with our intentions and our values.
